We're bringing the universe directly to students! Today, 17 educators spent the day with Dave Sell learning how to use our Digitalis Portable Planetarium units. From caring for and operating the equipment to exploring resources that enhance the experience, participants gained the knowledge they need to bring immersive astronomy learning directly to their students. Now, students across our region can explore the night sky without leaving school!

Marvin retired in 2011 after 43 years as a science educator, but his passion for astronomy and inspiring students never stopped. Since ECESC acquired its first portable planetarium in 1988, Marvin has helped tens of thousands of students across our region explore the wonders of the universe.
He continues to bring immersive planetarium experiences directly to our schools today.
