This K-12 MTSS series empowers administrators, counselors, and teachers to build sustainable systems for student success. The program features a Comprehensive Overview on day one followed by targeted half-day sessions for ELA and Math. Participants will learn to leverage data, strengthen Tier 1 instruction, and design effective interventions. Whether refining current practices or starting from scratch, your team will leave with actionable, "ready-to-use" strategies to support every learner across all tiers. MTSS Series – Day 1: Building the System | May 7, 2026 | 9:00-11:30am OR 12:30-3:00pm (choose 1)

This foundational session introduces the structures behind an effective MTSS framework. Participants will learn the core processes, data decision-making practices, and organizational systems that drive MTSS, including how to select interventions and build schedules that support both strong core instruction and targeted literacy support.

MTSS Series - Day 2: Literacy | May 13, 2026 | K-5 9:00-11:30am | MS & HS 12:30-3:00pm

This session introduces K–12 teachers to using MTSS to strengthen literacy instruction and intervention. Participants will learn how strong Tier 1, 2, and 3 practices, targeted supports, and data-driven decision making work together to improve reading and writing outcomes for all students. Teachers will leave with practical strategies they can use immediately in their classrooms.

MTSS Series - Day 3: Math | May 14, 2026 | K-5 9:00-11:30am | MS & HS 12:30-3:00pm

This K-5 professional learning session will unpack Indiana’s new K–2 screener, with a focus on expectations and what the data is designed to tell us about early numeracy development. Educators will explore the key components of Indiana’s Math Universal Screener and how each connects to foundational math understanding. We will examine possible intervention pathways and supports aligned to ILEARN Checkpoints as well as results from the Math Universal Screener. Finally, participants will learn how to use formative assessments and progress monitoring data to identify prerequisite skills, meet students where they are, and plan instruction that intentionally moves learning forward.

This professional learning session is designed for grades 6–12 teachers and administrators seeking to strengthen math instruction through an effective Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) framework. Participants will explore what high-quality math MTSS looks like at the secondary level, with a focus on Tier 1 instruction, meaningful data use from ILEARN Checkpoints, and targeted Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports. Through real-world examples and collaborative discussion, attendees will gain practical strategies for improving access to grade-level math, responding to student needs, and building sustainable systems that support all learners. Participants will leave with clear next steps they can apply immediately in classrooms, teams, and schools.
