ECESC End-of-Week Highlights
Great educational leadership teams get better during the summer! This week, we’re celebrating collaboration, leadership, and learning to benefit students:
✅ Jo Ann joined leaders from Eastern Hancock, Randolph Central, Randolph Eastern, and Monroe Central for the launch of the Future of High School Network, led by the Carnegie Foundation.
✅ Paula, Taylor, and Lindsey represented ECESC at CIESC’s KINL Con, leading impactful sessions on innovation and instructional strategy.
✅ Pat participated in the launch of the Indiana TPM Academy, focused on aligning K-12 education with workforce and talent pipeline needs.
✅ We were proud to host and participate in an Employer Engagement Event with Eastern Indiana Works, recognizing dedicated partners in the Exploration Into Work program—bringing real-world learning to local students.

ECESC is proud to celebrate our four member districts selected as part of the 24 school systems that make up the “Future of High School Network,” a national initiative led by the Carnegie Foundation. We recognize and support this collective effort to transform high school into a place where students gain meaningful skills, engage deeply in their learning, and graduate ready to thrive in a changing world.

We are excited to welcome our newest Associate Member, St. Michael’s Catholic School in Greenfield! St. Michael’s was officially added as an Associate Member at our Governing Board meeting on June 11, and they are part of Cohort 3 of the Indiana Literacy Cadre. We look forward to partnering with the educators and leaders at St. Michael’s for many years to come!

Last week, 29 of our member districts came together for our Annual Governing Board Meeting to celebrate and amplify their districts' and schools' accomplishments, conduct essential ECESC business, review the service center's impact during the 24-25 school year, and look ahead to new opportunities for service, support, and collaboration during the 25-26 school year. It was a wonderful day of celebration, collaboration, and planning!



It was a great day of learning yesterday at the TechEnRICHed Conference in Richmond. Our ECESC staff was proud to be part of the session lineup and to have the opportunity to work with East Central Indiana educators!




Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Training prepares school staff to prevent/de-escalate behaviors using restrictive/non-restrictive methods. ECESC is proud to offer this training in July! This session is good for initial certification and renewal. https://shorturl.at/Lorod
