School Counseling & MTSS Resources

As part of the HB1008 grant, Graduate Students in the School Counseling Program at Ball State University have compiled and created resources for schools. These teacher-friendly resources will provide East Central Indiana schools with materials to best support students. Resources include information about Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), including information about Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3, College and Career Readiness, and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), and a listing of Character Education programs in Indiana.

As schools look for ways to provide new NLPS pathway courses for the students in their school district, they often struggle with understanding the requirements for related industry certification(s) that are included in a pathway. The information in this guide is intended to assist school administrators and CTE instructors with identifying NLPS pathway courses and related industry certifications that can be offered to high school students.
