Tiffany Creager will return to the East Central ESC in late winter to present two new workshop topics. Tiffany received rave reviews when she presented her Trauma Informed Practices workshops at the Service Center last fall.
On February 26, her topic will be “Prevent Burnout - Support Staff Mental Health”. Rather than fight teacher burnout, frustration, and fatigue, find out how you can support your staff even if morale is low, resources are minimal, and student needs are high. Participants in this workshop will learn to identify risk factors for burnout and compassion fatigue. They will learn strategies for preventing and managing those symptoms. On March 4, Tiffany will present “Child Abuse Prevention: What Every Educator Needs to Know”. This program will focus on Indiana case law requirements, mandated report procedures, signs of abuse, as well as the prevalence and impact of child abuse on students’ mental and physical well-being. A great resource for all K-12 educators, school social workers, school nurses, school counselors, special education leaders, and paraprofessionals!
